Pre-Operative
Prior to your surgery date, one of our Perioperative Registered Nurses will call you for a brief conversation to confirm your surgery date and arrival time, review your medications and history and go over pre-operative instructions.
What to Expect Before Surgery?
Please notify your surgeon if there is any change in your physical condition, such as a cold, fever, or COVID-like symptoms.
Prior to your surgery date, one of our Perioperative Registered Nurses will call you for a brief conversation to confirm your surgery date and arrival time, review your medications and history and go over pre-operative instructions.
Please arrange for a responsible adult to accompany or drive you home after surgery as you will not be allowed to leave alone and unattended. Please have this person available for a window of time, as surgery and recovery times are estimates. It is helpful to provide the center with an alternative ride in case we cannot contact your primary ride.
